Tour Description
Visit some of the most important monuments in Naples, especially holy and mystic places, that represent some kind of metaphor for the symbolic meaning of a spiritual path, that everyone should try at least once in their lifetime. This tour hopes to show you the expression of human evolution through art.
Your morning will begin with exploring the downtown area of Naples, where you will see the Church of Gesù Nuovo in San Domenico Square and proceed to the Chapel of San Severo. Here you can choose to enter (optional) to see The Veiled Truth by Antonio Corradini, Christ Veiled under a Shroud by Giuseppe Sanmartino and Release from Deception by Francesco Queirolo. Next, you will walk to the church San Gregorio Armenian and Piazza San Gaetano, which you can also visit from the inside.
At noon your guide will suggest a restaurant for you to enjoy a classic Neapolitan lunch featuring both meat and fish options, or choose to indulge in an authentic traditional pizza! Following your lunch break your afternoon will be filled with sightseeing at New Castle, Piazza Vittorio Emanuele III, Via San Carlo and Via Toledo, Piazza Trieste and Trento and Piazza Plebiscito.
